You’re going to love this episode if...
You’re a Health Professional, Coach, Wellness Practitioner thinking of launching a program or course, or you’re someone who has launched a program that just didn’t generate the engagement and sales that you were hoping for. Well after twenty minutes with Kiki and Rebecca they are going to give you some top tips and divulge the 2 major things that you need to get people to say “ I need this!!!” and have your program selling out.
I spent the last 30 days in full research mode questioning experts, marketers, coaches and scouring the planet to find out what makes a successful program.
— Rebecca McCusker
Here’s the one thing really stood out for Rebecca during her research
There are many people out there who are helping people to create, structure and price programs BUT they’re not addressing the number 1 challenge of how to create a program that is successful. You can design a program filled with expertise and so much information that will truly make a huge impact but none of this matters if the program doesn’t sell. This is the missing link.
Rebecca’s advice?
We all need to be creating a content marketing plan around the program that makes people believe that they need this program. We need to instill this confidence and desire in them that makes them buy.
But how do we do this?
The number 1 thing to do is to listen. That’s right, listen. Listen to your dream clients, your ideal audience, and find out what they need from you. Listening can come in many forms: talking to your clients and your audience, researching on the internet, looking at forums, social media, YouTube videos, or book reviews, and analyzing the comments and reviews.
Tune into the episode as Rebecca does a super job of:
- Explaining the importance of market research and how to do market research right with real examples that you can start doing today.
- Dispelling the myth that asking questions makes you look inexperienced. The best coaches and never stop asking questions!
As Rebecca puts it:
“The best people in the industry, they never quit, they never stop asking questions.”
This part of the conversation is essential because it reminds you that your job is never done and there is always an opportunity to find out more and connect more with what people are asking about. From this, you can build a program that people really want based on research.
The Second Must-Do…
Create a content marketing strategy to promote your program. As Kiki and Rebecca say, this doesn’t have to feel icky promoting yourself, it’s about educating people. It’s about answering the questions that you uncovered in your research.
You know that people need to hear or see something 7 times before they take notice. So it takes more than that one Instagram post about your program, you need to proactively talk consistently week by week on your blog, in newsletters on social media.
As Rebecca and Kiki agree:
“If you feel like you are being repetitive that’s a good thing!
So, if you are thinking about creating a program, don’t miss this podcast.
