3:25 - Lynnsey describes her journey of finding her niche as a hypnotherapist

I was attracted at about 19. I read this book called Journey of Souls, and then I read the followup, Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton.

From there, my life never really was the same. I didn't make the jump yet. I got a job and I was doing the responsible thing and paying the bills. And then I had my son in 2012. When he was about seven months old, I was like, "I got to do something else with my life that doesn't involve 50 hours a week doing something I don't care about and serving other people. I want to do something that actually is of value and something that I can do every day for the rest of my life."

Long story short, I found the perfect place, I studied for a year, got my diploma, got my certification, and I have never looked back. Now I get to help people every single day, reconcile the subconscious beliefs that are holding them back with the conscious goals and desires of where they want to go.

5:05 - Why goals go unfulfilled

The whole reason that any goal goes unfulfilled is because the conscious and subconscious are not on the same page in terms of what you're allowed to have and do and be. And so I help you through hypnosis and hypnotherapy and a lot of releasing and healing. I help you get those two working together, which is why I say whole mind, 100% of your mind working together to attract your goals and your dreams, because what is in the subconscious now matches your conscious.

6:58 - Why you shouldn’t just ignore those emotions and feelings

There's nothing that happens to you ... that's a feeling that you have, or an emotional, or a reaction, nothing happens inside your body by accident. It's all a message. It's all a signal. It's trying to tell you something. There's a need not being met. And so those emotions and feelings and things coming up for you triggers, you might say, are things that need to be heard. And so if you ignore it, shove it down, try to pretend it's not there or power through it, it's just going to get louder and louder, and you're going to get more frustrated and more overwhelmed until you actually sit, turn inward and listen.

8:07 - How hypnosis can help you discover important things about your true calling

In hypnosis you're in a super deep state of relaxation and focus. It's kind of like meditation, but it's a little deeper than meditation. In some cases, a lot deeper than meditation.

A really effective way to go about this is to bring the image or symbol for whatever you're feeling, and it always will come. It could be anything. It could be a lamp, it could be a rainbow, it could be a big brick wall in front of your face. It doesn't matter what it is because it comes from your subconscious, but we actually communicate with it. We get answers from it….

What do you need for me to be able to release you? What are you wanting that's not being met? What can I do to help you get the F out here, basically is what we're saying.

11:13 - How your idea of worthiness affects your ability to reach your goals

It's different for every person. Worthiness is a huge one. It is a huge one. I would say, that's probably one of the main routes that I work on with every single client…

Let's say, and I don't know where you stand on this or where you are in your spiritual journey, but let's say you were 100% the person you knew you were supposed to be. You were connected to your intuition. You felt your higher wisdom talking to you all the time. If you believe in angels or spirit guides, you know that they're there and you feel supported, you feel empowered. You feel like you're freaking unstoppable because of that connection to your mind, body, soul.

Is there anything you can't do? Would you ever feel unworthy? Would you ever feel afraid? Would you ever feel unsafe or unstable or questioning your relationships? Would you ever wonder what your boundaries should be and what you will take and what you won't take?

Not for a second, because you can see. You stepped into who you're supposed to be. You stepped into the person you were before society told you who to be and it was trained out of you.

15:48 - Does everyone need hypnosis to identify their limiting beliefs?

Sometimes they can do it on their own, but sometimes we can do some hypnosis around why it's safe to let that go. Most of the time it's a feeling of like, "I don't know who I would be without this thing, so let me just hold onto it a little more." So sometimes it takes a little bit of work, it takes a little bit of time, but it's always in their timeline, whenever they're ready to be free of this and to actually walk on their own two feet and feel the freedom of not having this burden anymore is when it starts to happen.

It's all just a choice. If you're feeling like you're a victim of your emotions or your cycles, that is partly true, but your willingness to stay in that is part of the challenge. And once you make that decision ... We've all felt that point where being uncomfortable is so uncomfortable that we have to make the move. We just have to, because staying one more second in that situation is too much. That's the point, that decision, is the beginning of the change of your life.

17:15 - Lynnsey’s inspirations

Okay. If I do extracurricular, like listening to podcasts or anything like that, I know I'm a huge fan of Carrie Green.

She would probably be one of the pillars of why ... where I am today is definitely partly because of her. I didn't say any of that. So Carrie, if you're listening, I love you. I love her.

I'm also very spiritual, so if I'm going to listen to something to really inspire me and get me motivated, it's going to be Abraham Hicks. It's going to be Wayne Dyer, and anybody else who just is connected to that spiritual side.

19:08 - How survival mode keeps us safe but unfulfilled

But these big human bodies are very cumbersome and very dense and it makes us feel like there's a lot of obstacles in our way, especially when the brain and the mind are in survival mode, and for a lot of us they are. That survival mode will keep us safe. It will keep us alive, but it will also most of the time keep us very uncomfortable and very unfulfilled. And so it's that merging of let's be comfortable in abundance and also feel safe and feel supported and nurtured.
