Abundance + Money Mindset Talk and Techniques with Anna Gala

3:04 - How newer wellness entrepreneurs can get over their resistance to charging more money

The starting place for any type of change is awareness. Ask yourself, “What are my money blocks? What are my limiting beliefs around money, or what is my money story?”

We have to know what's tethering us to our current story or to our current cap of abundance. Whether that's the abundance that we ask for in our services or the abundance that we allow in from the universe's infinite places that it brings magic and abundance to us. So specifically around our price points.

I started out charging $40 an hour and was nervous even to ask for that. So I get it. Everybody's going to start somewhere and you're going to start with some freebies and with some donation and that's a great place to build confidence, but you don't want to get stuck in the freebie zone. You don't want to get stuck in the donation zone or just doing it for friends and family because you feel bad or guilty for asking for money…

So that next step is you start with that awareness piece again. So ask questions  like, “What impact are my services having on my client's mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, their work life, their relationships, like what impact am I truly having for them in a holistic way?”

5:04 - How to acknowledge and honor the ways in which we bring value to our clients, so we can feel confident in charging more

If we can really take the time to acknowledge and honor all of the ways that we are bringing value and change and transformation and benefit and results to our clients, then maybe we can step into a higher price point more confidently. Because we are like, damn like I'm doing a lot of good for these people and I deserve to get that exchange, that financial exchange, because really that's all it is. Money is an energy. Your contribution to them is an energy and it's just simply an exchange. So we can strip down some of the pieces of money being the scary thing, as opposed to just being a form of energy exchange, that it also helps us to step into that charging confidently mentality as well.

6:04 - Boost confidence in yourself by writing this down…

Journal out how you are truly helping the people that you're helping.

Look how far you've come. Look how much time, money, energy, and effort that you've invested, not only in yourself to get you to the place that you are today, but all of the investing of time and money that you've spent on your certifications on the self-development books, on the courses, on the retreats, on whatever it is.

That also contributes to your value and worth and what you can give to somebody because you've given that to yourself.  These things add to that dollar value.

6:56 - How to assess how experienced you really are…

It's really important to remember that our experience is our expertise. And so when imposter syndrome tries to kick in and says, girl, you can't charge that much. Or Oh, I don't know, like maybe you're not worth that. Or maybe you're not there yet. Maybe you're not in the place yet that you can charge.

Then you can simply say, I have had, at this point, probably a couple of decades, a few decades under my belt of this journey. I've spent this many years, this much time, this much money and this much effort, getting myself to the place I am now, which makes me an expert and I'm helping somebody five steps ago. So where I was five steps ago.

That in itself has value, has worth, you are somewhere that is somebody's goal place.

So, we can shift ourselves into higher levels of value, worth, confidence, competence, and really stopping the over-serving and undercharging mentality.

10:05- How to structure an offer so you can charge more

Does your offer feel and look irresistible before you even get on the sales call?

You should already be selling the person before they even get in front of you.

Not only from your content on Instagram, that should be consistently positioning you as an expert, as an authority, but then when they do have that higher level of interest and get onto your sales page or your landing page, it should start selling it from there.

And how you do that is in the hook is speaking directly at pain points.

What is your dream client going through specifically? And can you call that out with that emotional aspect. What are they frustrated about? What are they laying in bed and thinking about at night? What is something that they just can't take anymore? Whatever those pieces are, really being able to express that right on your page.

And then you can switch that over to imagine statements. Imagine and then the goal points or the dreams, the desires, the ideal physical states, mental states, emotional space states, especially. It's a really looking at showing them that there's a solution to not only their physical pain points and problems, but to the underlying emotional aspects of that as well will really show them that you understand them, that you empathize to them and that you have a solution for them.

So that in itself should start to build some value, build some confidence.

And then when you get on the call with them, you listen, you empathize, you let them take the floor and really get explain themselves to you what they're struggling with.

You take notes and then you show them that you've got a system, you've got a method, you've got some steps or some phases and some strategies that you can help them get from where they are using their words to where they want to be using their words. That makes you feel confident that you're like, wow, I really understand this person. Wow, I really do have solutions for this person.

13:06- How to identify what you’re REALLY selling…

When you step into this call, you truly, you're not selling a program, you're selling from soul and you're selling potential and you're selling transformation.

Leave the money aside during this call or during this whole process and focus on what your underlying whys. And I can promise that every single person who's listening to this right now, their true underlying why is that they want to change lives and have a positive impact in the world.

When you get on a sales call, you're not selling a program, you're offering your service and you're offering potential. Just focus on that. The dollar signs can feel scary, but if you're doing it from a place of soul, that person feels that. And they're buying into you and into the potential, into the result versus at looking at the dollar signs.
